Potsdam, Germany
February 17-20, 2026
We are delighted to invite you to join our next in-person preprocessing meeting! The meeting will take place on February 17-20, 2026, in Potsdam, Germany at the Department of Linguistics, University of Potsdam.
In this meeting we will discuss and test the MultiplEYE preprocessing pipeline which we have been developing over the course of the last few months. We are therefore asking representatives of the MultiplEYE languages to join us in this meeting to test and improve the pipeline. The pipeline is supposed to be applied to all MultiplEYE datasets and beyond. Our focus lies therefore on the usability of the pipeline in general, as well as extending it to other datasets.
Ideally, participants have already applied simple preprocessing pipelines to eye-tracking data or have used pymovements, and are familiar with the different stages of preprocessing. Basic Python knowledge is required.
An agenda for the meeting and details about the venue will be sent out before the meeting.
Please note that all members of MultiplEYE are eligible to apply for attendance and will be reimbursed upon the completion of the event if they are selected by the organizing team.
If you are interested in attending, please send the attached application form via e-mail to multipleye.2022@gmail.com.
The application form includes a brief motivation. In the application form, you should explain why you wish to attend the meeting, and how you are contributing to the Working Group(s) and if you already contributed any coding.
If the number of applicants exceeds the number that can be supported by the available budget, the responsible Committee of the Action will select applicants to be reimbursed. Formal invitations will be sent to the selected participants via the e-COST platform. Please do not book anything before you accept the official invitation.
Applications should be submitted by January 5, 2026.
According to COST rules, all participants who are eligible for reimbursement are expected to initially pay all the expenses themselves and provide evidence of expenses incurred via the e-COST platform. Participants will be reimbursed after the meeting for the attended days and travel time. Please refer to page 85 of the COST Annotated Rules to see precise calculations.
Please carefully read the Online Travel Reimbursement Rules (OTRR) on page 82 of the Annotated Rules for details on reimbursement upon the completion of the event.
