MultiplEYE members are invited to apply for participation in the Training School on April 26-28, 2023, in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The first MultiplEYE training school will take place on April 26-28, 2023, in Kaunas, Lithuania, at Kaunas University of Technology.

The Training School will cover the following topics:

  1. Eye-tracking methodology,
  2. Setting up eye-tracking experiments,
  3. Eye-tracking data collection and analysis.

On top of these topics, you will get to hear more about low-cost eye-trackers and tips for setting up an eye-tracking lab. The main idea is to provide those who have no or very little experience with this technology with the knowledge necessary for conducting eye-tracking experiments within this COST Action and beyond.

Please note that all MultiplEYE participants who wish to attend and learn more are eligible to apply for attendance, and will be reimbursed upon the completion of the event if they are selected by the COST Action Committee. There are 50 eligible places that will be reimbursed by COST! Note that every Action member can apply, but priority will be given to less experienced members.

If you are interested in attending, please send the attached application form via e-mail to multipleye.2022@gmail.com (title: TS application – full name).

The application form includes some information about you and a brief letter of motivation. In the application you should explain why you wish to attend the training school, what you wish to learn, how it will benefit your research and career, and how you plan to contribute to the Action objectives with the new sets of skills and knowledge.

The selection will be based on the letter of motivation, taking into account geographic and gender balance, and inclusiveness of Early Career Investigators. Priority will be given to the applications coming from the ITC. The list of participants selected for reimbursement will be announced after the application deadline.

Applications must be submitted by February 25, 2023.

Formal invitations will be sent out to the selected participants via the e-COST platform. Therefore, it is obligatory that you have an e-COST profile! According to the COST rules, all participants that are eligible for reimbursement are expected to initially pay the expenses themselves and provide evidence of expenses incurred via the e-COST platform. Participants will be reimbursed after the training school for a maximum of four nights. Please read the Online Travel Reimbursement Rules (OTRR) carefully for more details on reimbursement upon the completion of the event.

Please note that ONLY CA21131-MultiplEYE members are eligible for reimbursment by COST following the rules in OTRR.
